Humans are center-seeking, according to a new study by an American psychologist. For example, 60% choose the middle toilet even though the toilets next to it are exactly the same. And if shoppers in a supermarket are given a choice of biscuit rolls arranged in four rows, two-thirds will choose the middle two rows.

Transformation from airliner to bomber?

In 1913, Igor Sikorsky had developed a four-engine passenger plane Ilya Muromets for 16 passengers, with a bathroom. At the outbreak of war, the planes were converted into strategic bombers and could bomb Germany relatively unhindered. Eventually, German fighters posed a threat to the bombers and in 1916 they were withdrawn.
