Denmark’s first power station was located in Køge in Brogade no. 8 in 1891, and sent voltage around the city center, but only until bedtime at 21:15. The power station was located in the basement of watchmaker Hansen.

Charlotte Dod, a multi-talent

British Charlotte Dod won the Wimbledon tennis championship five times, the British women’s golf championship once, silver in archery at the 1908 Olympics and she represented England at the 1899 Hockey World Cup. She was also an excellent ice skater.
