Sneflok (plural: snowflocks or snowflakes) is an obsolete word that meant “snowflakes” and in Hans Christian Andersen Andersen’s fairy tale The Snow Queen, the first printing (1845) reads “Sneeflokker”, but this was corrected in 1855 to “Sneefnokker”, and in 1862 to “Sneefnug”.
